Delete Account and Data

You can delete your Beezybee account at any time. Upon account deletion, all personal data will be removed unless statutory retention obligations apply.

How to delete your account

Send an email request

Send an email to datenschutz@beezybee-app.de with the subject "Delete Account". Use the email address you registered with.

Confirm your identity

We verify your identity using your registered email address. In some cases, we may ask for additional confirmation.

Deletion is processed

After successful verification, your account will be fully deleted within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation email.

What data gets deleted?

Immediately deleted (within 30 days)

  • ✓ Profile data (name, email, profile picture, bio)
  • ✓ Location and address data
  • ✓ Chat messages and media
  • ✓ Push settings and notifications
  • ✓ BeeCoins and gamification data
  • ✓ Verification documents (trade registration, HWK card)
  • ✓ Device tokens and login sessions
  • ✓ Drafts and saved jobs

Retained due to legal obligations

  • ⏳Payment and transaction data: 10 years (§ 147 AO, § 257 HGB)
  • ⏳DAC7/PStTG reporting data: 10 years after end of reporting period (§ 25(2) PStTG)
  • ⏳Identity verification (KYC): 5 years (§ 8 GwG), stored by Stripe, not on our servers
  • ⏳Reviews: Anonymized (name replaced with "Former User")
